Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

Such a cute spot for date night! Lots going on with the decor and music which created a unique atmosphere for the small diner. Staff was very friendly and checked in on us regularly and was helpful in deciding what to try. The showstopper of this meal was the Hawaiian Nachos, the portion size is insane and the quality is just as good. The pork is excellent and I appreciated the notes of other flavors particularly from the pineapple and the pickled onions. This thing could serve at least two people, don’t underestimate it like we did. My wife and I will be coming back for date night and splitting just these nachos for sure. Beyond that, we also ordered the lamb tacos, again the portion was more than expected and reasonable especially for the price. The lamb falls right off the bone and is very tender, however bit dry in the tacos and needs the salsas provided. I would suggest skipping the lumpia, it was very crispy but neither of us liked the flavor. When in doubt, pick the nachos. Overall, great portions, great prices, and very friendly staff. We will be coming back!

This was a gem to stumble upon in Richmond after a few breweries. Josephine and Kelsi were absolutely polished professional magicians behind the bar. It was so impressive watching them work. Josephine understood the assignment with my drink request. Kelsi was so kind and made everyone feel welcome. Food was delicious and we loved all of the little details with the tiki ambiance. Great escapism effect. We will be back!

This is really a unique restaurant. We really enjoyed the ambiance and the hospitality. We thoroughly enjoyed the PuPu appetizer sampler and the the steak was cooked to perfection. The lamb tacos were also delicious and flavorful. The chicken dish was a miss for us because it lacked flavor and it was slightly dry. The portion sizes of each dish made it perfect for sharing. Overall we had a great experience.
