Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

Best Mexican Food place!! I am out here from El Paso, TX visiting my In Laws and this restaurant was the perfect atmosphere. Amazing food it truly was a little taste from home that I was missing and our waiter was super nice and helpful. Thank you for being so attentive and welcoming. I loved it here I can’t wait for the next time I can be back.

Great great service, food was good, does a little difficult to try to get them on the phone it was Valentine's Day so I was calling to see how busy they were but I finally did get someone on the phone. But we got there in time and thankfully we did because after we got there it got very busy. But we had good food and good great service. I do wish they had a better selection of chimichangas. But they did let me customize my chimichanga the way I wanted.

It was a pretty typical Mexican restaurant. Nothing really stood out or was exceptional. I ordered the Fajitas Jalisco, which is what they were calling my usual dish, which is Fajitas with 3 specific proteins. That being chicken , steak, and shrimp . Decent decor with a mix of tables and booths. A few murals on a few walls were the highlight of the visit. I got seated right away and soon had my coke no ice and a basket of chips and a small bowl of salsa. I had my usual complaints that being the chips seemed stale, and the salsa was thin and watered down. I always get excited when I find a place that has thick, rich, and chunky salsa with some spice. This was not it. The rice and beans place was beautifully put together. Great presentation and portions. But the skillet that is the main dish was disappointing. It looked like it had just been poured onto the skillet, and the portions were smaller and almost underwhelming. Like usual, I told them to keep the tortillas I the kitchen as I don't eat them. I also asked for a couple of roasted jalapenos instead. They did toss in a few sliced up rings of jalapenos, which were appreciated. It was a good overall visit. I'm just surprised that there wasn't more follow-up during the course of the meal. I could have used more napkins and maybe some hotsauce as the proteins were pretty dry. My cup sat empty for a while, and it wasn't until I was looking around trying to get someone's attention that I got a refill and the bill. I will say the bill was cheaper than I expected, that being 17.81 with the tax in. I would definitely eat here again, but not before having a chance to try the other Mexican restaurant just over a mile away.
