This place was FIREEE. All of the food is vegan and the staff is nothing but kind. I ordered the fried cauliflower and cornbread and it was absolutely amazing. The cauliflower tastes like KFC popcorn chicken but vegan like come on now that’s insanely yummy. They will be moving locations and I’m definitely excited to follow them there!

The mushroom sandwich was greasy. They did not drain the grease. The bun soaked up the grease. The greens did not taste fresh. Mac and cheese no seasoning. Maybe an off day. The shake was sweet. I love the concept and that this place exists. Just did not enjoy my food.

Great casual vegan soul food. The breakfast vegan sausage sandwich with vegan egg was very tasty and it went well with the collard and chickpeas sides, which were much lighter taste and had a steamed like texture. My bf also enjoyed his CLT cheesesteak sandwich with beyond meat and side of delicious fresh fries. The owner was very nice and accommodating, always checking around the tables to make sure the food was ok and if anyone had concerns or feedback. She seems very caring about her customers. There wasn’t any air conditioning but it was wasn’t too hot and the interior could use some updates. But they have the right idea. Eating vegan is exactly real love in action. There’s definitely potential here, I hope you guys stay and continuously improve in any way you can and thank you for existing! (Also they have like stamp cards for $15 off after 6 visits or something like that.)
