Finally made it to this sweet bakery. Staff very friendly. My friend and I shared bacon quiche and raspberry scone at the shop. I took home sea salt focaccia bread, sea salt chocolate chip cookie and another cookie with nuts, chocolate and dried fruit. All were delicious and very reasonably priced. Was hoping Lia would be there as I had a picture of us from 12 years ago right after she won TLC Next Great Baker. So happy for your success with the shop, your cookbooks and beautiful family.

Lia and her team makes the best cakes. I had the St. Louisie cake at work last year and started getting them for myself recently. My best friend in KC loves gooey butter cakes too. Lia and her team packed up a small cake that I took to KC to give to my best friend for her wedding day. Lia’s cakes and bakery items are worth sharing. I enjoy them so often. Another thing to try, when they have it, the southwest pastry. It’s so soft and flaky and looks like a savory pop tart. I hope they make more different hand pies like that in the future.
