Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

Nice Thai restaurant in Lebanon OH, about 20 mins from Dayton. Parking is on the street and can be hard to find especially on weekends. There is a parking garage 1 block away. Service was fast and pretty good. I like the story of how restaurant was started by a mixed American and Thai couple. Food was pretty good.

Food was wonderful, great service! Their spice level is on the milder side- I went with a medium heat which was actually pretty mild. My friend got native Thai and said it wasn't as hot as he expected either. Regardless of heat levels, the taste was amazing and I would highly recommend!!

Having lived in Thailand for well over a decade, I’m extremely picky about what gets called “authentic Thai food.” Mae Ploy absolutely nails it. Every dish tasted like something straight out of Bangkok or Chiang Mai — real flavors, real ingredients, and zero shortcuts. This is the closest I’ve come to genuine Thai cuisine since moving back to the States. The service was excellent from start to finish — friendly, attentive, and fast without ever feeling rushed. The staff clearly takes pride in what they do. The atmosphere is warm, clean, and surprisingly upscale for a small town spot. It’s the kind of place where you can enjoy a casual lunch or bring friends for a nicer dinner out. If you’re craving true Thai flavor, this place is hands-down one of the best in the area. Five stars all the way.
