I am in absolute love with the Hibiscus Lemonade. It’s my favorite drink now for sure. But they also have peach, mango, orange, cherry, and pomegranate that I want to try. The queso was amazing and thick and the chips were great and not those thin cheap ones so that made me very happy. The salsa was good as well but I did need to add salt and pepper for my own personal taste. I had the rancherito mix with shrimp which was 13.99 on a Sunday lunch. My son however had just Rice with Shrimp and it was 11.99 but it’s his birthday and he loved it so shoutout to all the other July 13th babies out there. Mine was great too. We stuffed ourselves full then got Togo boxes. I forgot the picture but my son also got the fried ice-cream and idk if he didn’t like it bc it wasn’t like store bought ice cream, but he may have just been full bc I finished it all for him. It had chocolate drizzle and chocolate shreds on it and I munched it down! And it was only 4.99 Overall we had a great time. We sat ourselves down. Our server was very sweet and kind but didn’t know too much English and apologized a few times for it but I assured her it was perfectly fine. There is an 84 cents service charge on using a card which isn’t too bad because usually it’s around $3 when the service charge is back to the customer but that’s the pos system not the restaurant (I used to sell pos systems). My son wanted rice badly for his birthday but I chose Maggie & Lucy’s bc of the hibiscus lemonade. Not disappointed in the slightest! Kudos to the great staff! And Happy Birthday J-Bird!!

The food was the average Mexican food to me taste wise. But the food was hot, and fresh, and the service awesome. I just wish there was more flavor, charro beans, and the chips not so thick. The saucsa was very soupy, and not many ingredients so that was a low point.
