This place is usually our go-to for authentic Indian food, and it rarely disappoints us. However, last night was an exception, and I understand that it was a very busy night for them. We ordered two entrees, one with paneer and the other with mixed vegetables, but unfortunately, neither met our expectations this time. We ended up trying something else. The breads, which are usually excellent, were not up to their usual standard. I believe this was just a rough night for the restaurant in both food and service. I appreciate their consistent quality and look forward to returning soon to experience their usual greatness.

We had been to the Chicago location while we were in the city visiting. We liked it so much that we wanted to try the one somewhat closer to home. Everything was just as good! The veg biryani was so flavorful and chock full of big veggies. Matter paneer and naan yummy.. Not pictured, gulab jamun to end the night. The atmosphere was decorated nicely but not as cute as the Chicago location where you sit on pillows and low to the ground tables..

We went to celebrate my birthday and it was perfect. The food was excellent, the service was above and beyond, and the ambiance was very nice. We will definitely be back soon.
