Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

This is my first time eating Indian food from a restaurant. My husband has had this food from this restaurant, and he brought our friends and I here. This is the best. I can't wait to plan another trip to Oxford just to come to this restaurant like this trip.

Flavor wise the food is very good, but the price doesn’t match the serving. We ordered gobi Manchuria which was good but it came in a small pot with only 8 pieces for 13.50. Even with only 2 people we were charged 11 dollars in “tips” on a 60 dollar bill. At the time we didn’t notice and tipped another 10 on top of that. But at least the food was good.

Great Indian food. Bring your own liquor or wine, they only have beer. The food easily makes up for the atmosphere. Very nice staff. Well priced for the amount of food... love the leftovers! The one thing that I crave from this restaurant is the appetizer Gobi Manchuria... amazing! You can choose your level of spice on all the dishes for those of you that are hesitant of Indian spicy food. I love it hot but you can get mildon everything. Lamb Saag is so tender in a great creamy spinach sauce. Chicken Tandoori is also phenomenal.
