Some of the best lamb I’ve ever had!! Dip it in the made from scratch white or green sauce (I liked it with the white). The chicken, beef, and kafta were fantastic too, especially with the grilled red onions and green peppers. The chickpea salad, rice, and salad were perfect pairs on the side. I got a family platter that could easily feed 6 people!! Usman is the owner working with his son Adam, they are good, friendly, respectful people doing honest work.

Had some phenomenal food and some phenomenal service! Huge shoutout to Adam for helping us decide on a good food option as well as providing excellent service 👌 Pretty affordable prices, the food had such a refreshingly nice presentation, and they gave us some much extra naan bread! If you want to skip the fast food for a little more of a healthier and elevated experience, definitely come here 10/10 would definitely recommend!

I usually order the lamb kabobs, and they remain outstanding every time. This location is consistent with both flavor and portion size—reliable, generous, and well-prepared. I tried the Monday specialty on my latest visit (today), and the portion was just as substantial as a regular entrée, which was a welcome surprise. The curry offers a layered flavor profile: it opens slightly sweet, then settles into a mild, satisfying heat. Some guests complain about the spice level at this location, but this is authentic Afghan cuisine—spice is part of the experience. If someone prefers milder food, there are other options elsewhere. Maiwand Kabob should continue honoring its bold flavors rather than toning them down. In fact, I wouldn’t mind seeing the heat elevated even further. This place continues to deliver, especially when it comes to lamb.
