Mak Mak Thai Cuisine on Main Street in Bountiful is really solid. It’s hard to find good Thai food in Utah, and this place gets it right. The food was flavorful and fresh, service was friendly, and everything came out quick. Definitely a place we’ll come back to.

We had the chicken pad see ew and it was delish. The veggies were fresh, chicken was tender, noodles were perfect and the dish was well seasoned. The service was fast & friendly. The restaurant was clean with a good vibe— great music too!

I ordered the Sen Mee Pad See Ew, thinking it may be similar to pad woon sen. It wasn’t but very good. I could’ve eaten two so maybe the portions are a bit small for the minority like me. I ordered a spice level 2 and found it to be a medium. I spiced it up with some readily available chile to a level just short of Thai spicy. Thai spicy is a bit much for me. It’s left my face numb for several hours in the past LOL. Definitely worth trying if you like Thai food. The Popeye energy drink was also excellent and more healthy than most.
