The atmosphere and vibes of Makin Groceries was outstanding! We had the vegan crunch wrap and the jackfruit tacos and we tore it all up! We also had the juices, they were refreshing and good. They were super friendly to us and we would definitely go back. It was my honey’s first time having vegan food so I was excited for him and I love a good vibe and amazing food so I was a happy girl! ☺️ Highly recommend if you’re looking to eat clean and a nice atmosphere.

I'm in from out of town and wanted something great for breakfast. Searched for "vegan" and Makin' Groceries was open at 8 and vegan! Lauren suggested the burrito, but I never get to order grits out and have to make them at the house. I got a grit bowl with tofu scramble, Chipotle vegan bits, micro greens, and sauce. It's absolutely amazing. I also got a strawberry and white chocolate muffin. Also delicious. I was also able to save half for later because it was such a large portion of food. There was also a large selection of prepped meals that looked amazing, and if I had an airbnb with a better kitchen, I would have probably gotten one instead of going out to dinner. Lauren was a ray of sunshine! So glad I came in! Thank you!

This place is phenomenal! Real, wholesome, delicious food prepared with excellent ingredients and mixed with the love and passion of its owner and staff. Great breakfast and lunch spot! We loved the breakfast burrito, breakfast grits bowl, and the fresh juice. The food presentation, friendly staff, and cozy cafe atmosphere made the whole experience a 10/10.
