Got the signature Acai bowl. Came out pretty and refreshing, and not too sweet. On the pricier side for $10 for small bowl, and the shop itself is pretty noisy with traffic and all the blenders. But should be a good grab and go place for afternoon dessert.

This review comes late however I'd rather give credit late then not at all so here we go. Ended up stopping at this Mamaka location on my way down to Texas for the holidays. Wanted something lighter before gorging on all the fixings but wanted something to hold me over for the remainder of my drive. I walked in and first thing I noticed was how clean the place was which was super encouraging. The young women who helped me (I think she said her name was Kaleigh) was super friendly and nice and helped me pick my bowl since I had never been. She was super patient and then once I decided, made my bowl quickly while still maintaining friendly conversation. The bowl itself was absolutely delicious and definitely worth the price. The vibe was great, and I will most certainly return in the future.

Won't be back after this morning. No line when I walked in but girl could barely be bothered to take my order because she was too busy chatting with her friend. I noticed the friend had a smoothie in the bigger cup and I asked the girl if she could make me the Babe in that size. She seemed annoyed and said it only came in one size. No problem.. ordered my smoothie and waited outside for a few. Walked back in and she could barely hand me my smoothie because again, too wrapped up in her personal conversation. I walked outside but then noticed my hand wasn't just cold, it was purple from smoothie on outside of the cup and all over the lid. I walked back in to clean it up with paper towels from the counter. It was still dripping from under the rim so I finally interrupted her riveting conversation to ask for a new lid and showed her the mess I was cleaning up. Again, she looked annoyed but couldn't care less. For the tiny smoothie going from $6.50 to $8 within the past couple weeks, you would think they could at least keep the smoothie INSIDE the cup instead of a customer having to clean a messy order handed to them.. smh A couple of the afternoon and Saturday shift girls are sweet and helpful.. but this staff is embarrassing overall, especially for the price points for bad attitude and nonexistent customer service.
