Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

Lucky find for us this place is the real deal. Delicious fresh Turkish food, appetizers were fantastic. Baba ghanoush was delicious. Tried a few new things. Did the mixed platter of chicken, lamb and beef. The did not get everything pictured, but the bread was outstanding. A Family owned operation that takes pride and the quality of their menu items and the service! We ordered way more than we could eat after seeing Just to have some to take home! Try this place!

We went here for an early Monday dinner. We weren’t expecting much because even when we we near Detroit to a Turkish restaurant it was still just so so. But this place does not disappoint! You can tell this food is made with heart and care. We had the baked hummus (with cheese and Turkish pepperoni), falafel, and mixed grill plate and hubby had both the Turkish tea and coffee. Literally nothing disappointed and our standards are fairly high. Even our 8yo devoured it all and told the owner/waitress that she is really good at this lol! If you want authentic flavors and family recipes with the most tender meat, this needs to be on your list! They’ve only been open 8m and I foresee this becoming quite the hit spot to go once it’s really discovered. They even have an adorable outdoor seating area, but it was 49° outside so we sat inside lol.

Great spot in an otherwise hectic & commercial area. The patio is an inviting oasis along busy 49th St. I had the salmon platter with rice & salad. Other fish options include sea bass and grouper. The salmon was perfectly cooked: crisp on the outside and barely cooked on the inside (per closeup). It was flakey and infused with wood-fired notes. If you prefer a more cooked center, be sure to ask. I was brought an eggplant appetizer on the house, along with homemade bread hot from the oven. Both were delicious. I found the salmon best with just lemon. I mixed most of the red sauce (both spicy & flavorful) into the rice, and sopped up the rest with the bread. The salad was simple, but good. It included a crunchy piece of romaine. I squeezed some lemon on it and added some tzatziki, sopping up the rest with the bread (of course).
