We would give this place 10 stars if we could! Amazing, down home cooking with some of the best fried chicken in the south! We had chicken, wings for me, dark meat for hubs. Sides were cheese grits, string beans, collards, slaw and okra corn and tomatoes. Delicious corn muffins came to the table with our drinks. Drink choices are sweet and unsweetened tea, lemonade and water. Somehow we got lucky and hit on a rare slow day, so no wait for a seat right at noon. We drove two hours to give this place a try after reading rave reviews online. I can easily say we would make the trip again, just for the remarkable chicken!

Good vibes, location, and food. Had the Fried chicken with three sides. Restaurant has shorter hours on Sunday but we were seated fairly quickly. Food came out fast and tasted great. Sides were good as well and overall good portion. Most of the people around us were taking the leftovers to go, so I would say the portions are on the more generous side. Chickens were cooked well, and sides with cornbread were good as well. Staffs were very nice and helpful. Parking available.

This was my first time here! I had a great experience from the warm greeting to the amazing service from our waiters! Thank you!! A+ staff food was great!! It tasted great and looked great as well!!
