Let's start with going inside..you're hit with a very calm and nice decor. Really makes you feel welcomed. Plus if you're a fan of Japanese ascetic then you're really love seeing the counter. The staff is very friendly and hard working. The food is sublime. I had gotten the stir-fried noodles with steak and the person with me got the Katsu chicken. Both meats were very tender and delicious. They weren't even oily which is a big plus because sometimes too much oil can upset your stomach. The best part (imo) is the sushi. All of it is made fresh..that even includes anything with fried components to it...which you can tell easily.

I absolutely loved their Japanese food and the service! Everything was extremely fresh and well prepared. I highly recommend the smoked salmon nigiri, it was outstanding.. and the mango mochi for dessert, which was the perfect way to end the meal. I had been looking for a high-quality Japanese restaurant like this for a long time, and I can confidently say I’m now a regular customer. I’ll definitely be back!

We have visited South Carolina from Washington twice this year, and during both trips, we chose Masa for one meal per visit. The customer service was always excellent, particularly from our waiter, a young man who provided phenomenal service on both visits. Additionally, the food was delicious and reasonably priced, and the restaurant was immaculate. We were especially impressed by the cleanliness of the restroom, as we firmly believe it reflects the overall hygiene of the kitchen. We will always make it a point to dine at Masa at least once every time we are in the area.
