Max and Louie's New York Diner

We did not have a good experience. There was gnats/flies everywhere inside the restaurant. We were sat in a booth by the bar and our waitress (the bartender) was awful and not attentive. Yet she was very attentive to all the male's eating alone. Wait time was horrendous even though it wasn't that busy. Chicken parm sandwich was not tasty. Also the bottom of the bread was soggy but the edges on the top were burnt. Patty melt had no taste. The bakery side didn't have much. The employees were chit chatting with each other and we're ignoring me so I didn't order anything. Very disappointed with our experience. And definitely won't be back for lunch/ dinner. Maybe breakfast is a better experience. Not sure! Prices are high for poor quality food!

Bring an extra wallet, especially if you want dessert or drinks. $53. For two burgers, fries and sodas. The food was exactly average It would have been a total loss but our waiter was actually better than the restaurant. The sweet tea was terrible. The only advantage over whataburger is the bar. If the prices dropped thirty percent I'd give it 4 stars.

I got food poisoning from the chicken Parmesan yesterday. I don’t think I’ll be back anytime soon.
