McAlister's Deli

Got mixed feelings. Took my family here to try this place out. You take a menu when you walk in the door but there were only a couple of menus available. We let some others go before us in order to figure out what we wanted and got in line. We ordered the food and it took considerably longer then the other delis we have eaten at considering it was pretty slow I'm not sure why it took so long. The sandwiches for the family were good and they liked them. My granddaughter's meal was good and she liked it as well. I opted for the Spud Max. Unfortunately it was not my kind of loaded baked potato it had no sauce and they didn't put any butter on it before putting on the toppings so the potato was very dry. Employees were very nice. Might try something else but really would rather try another place.

I’ve lived in Alvin my entire life and have never tried Mcalisters. I went on November 4, 2025 and I was really impressed. The worker named Elena did an amazing job helping me out for my first time. She’s very knowledgeable. I wish I would have tried this place out when it first opened. I will be back for sure. Great job everyone.

First time to visit this recently opened McAlister's Deli in Alvin and our experience was phenomenal! The manager, Eric has it down packed. Eric is very professional and enthusiastic about his work. Also, the food was superb and delicious! We ordered the Garden Turkey sandwich with 9 grain bread and it was the best! After we ordered, our food came out quickly and the atmosphere was comfortable and cozy as well. It's means of egress may be somewhat tricky as the major highway has divided barriers so depending on which way you're coming from, it is tricky. I highly recommend this McAlister's Deli for your next meal.
