Hands down the best place we have stopped to eat during our travels since the end of 2024. Delicious chicken club house sandwich with broccoli cheddar soup for me - we inhaled our food! I really wish I could remember the name of the front counter Lady - she was extremely professional and looked truly happy that we were there.

My wife grew up in Herrin. When we come to visit her family, we usually go to other eateries. I'm from New England, and we have Delis everywhere. I'm glad we stopped in this trip! I was really craving a salad and some broccoli and cheddar soup. McAlisters nailed it. The chef salad was large and loaded with toppings. The honey mustard dressing was great. The soup was delicious. I wish I had gotten a bowl instead of a cup. I also ordered the spud max. It was HUGE and full of toppings and cooked perfectly. If we were locals, we'd definitely be stopping in frequently. Thank you for a delicious lunch!
