Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

Ordered to-go at 5:57 picked up at 6:10, food was tough like it had been sitting for quite some time. We ordered 2 potatoes and 2 soups. The soups were good but lukewarm and the potatoes were only half edible because it was old and dried up all the way around. Didn’t seem to be worth $40+ of food. Spoke to the manager and they offered to check the other potatoes which is good, but offered nothing for our inconvenience which is fine. I just thought it was poor service and poor customer service.

McAlister’s is definitely one of the top “deli/restaurants” I’ve been to, and I’ve been to a lot of McAlisters, but this one seems to pull up every time. Almost all the staff are friendly and professional, the interior is very clean, and has plenty of tables and space, it’s always hard to choose what to eat, that’s because almost everything is amazing. If it isn’t, they’re very good at making it right. This is one of the best places in my opinion in Tullahoma with everything combined. In the picture you’ll see the Jalapeño Turkey Crunch with their always amazing Mac n Cheese. If I listed all the best items, id have 3/4 of them menu on here at LEAST. But if you haven’t had their infamous SPUD all of them rock, and for sandwiches the Italian and the Smokey pepper jack turkey are some other winners. So to sum it up Keep on Keeping on McAlister’s 🤟🏼

This was my second time here, and I just love it. Serving sizes are definitely enough to get full. The family oriented setting is nice and does not feel like a fast food restaurant. It is nicely structured with plenty of seating. The food is delicious and the staff is so friendly. We especially like the cashier that calls us honey. She's such a sweetheart. Both times we went, they were very busy, but still very little waiting for our food. They are very good at checking on you during your time there. You can order ahead if you don't want to go in and pick it up at the drive-through if you want, which is a nice feature as well. Prices are average and for the great food and service, I cannot complain.
