Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

5 Stars all around. Server was right there, then the drinks, and when we weren't ready to order she came back. She checked on us, took our plates. Food was very good, I got 2 eggs, toast and a side of bacon. I got 4 slices of bacon which is becoming uncommon. Bacon was really good, I could tell it had been cooked right then vs cooked this morning and sitting there. Wife got soup and salad bar. Chicken dumping soup was the real deal. And when she went back to get more banana bread you just know it was good.

We enjoy eating here, something different from a franchise breakfast- but instantly regret our decision. We’ve been here a few times. The weekend staff is FANTASTIC. The food is home cooked and decent and the atmosphere is welcoming and warm. The week day service is crap. “ Pebbles “ Not warm, friendly or welcoming at all. We sat for way too long, waiting for a server to greet us- as staff walks by multiple times and know one acknowledges us. And it wasn’t busy. It was dump and go. When our server finally came, she was rude. Took our order instantly- got our order wrong- blamed the kitchen. Spilled syrup all over our booth SEAT and didn’t even acknowledge it. Service can go along way. Good service can turn a bad experience around real quick- you should probably work on your customer service skills!

We have never been to this restaurant and decided to give it a try. We were greeted when we arrived and brought to our table. The waitress gave us very small glasses of water. I set my glass of water at the end of the table, but the waitress never refilled it until we mentioned it. When we were about to leave, the waitress brought the vacuum cleaner over. As we were leaving, she thanked us and immediately started vacuuming. It would have been nice if she waited until we left to start vacuuming. It makes it seem that we are an inconvenience, and cleaning up is more important than the customers. The food is overpriced on the menu. My son only got two chicken strips and side salad for his meal. My chili had no spices to it. I can get better chili at Erbert and Gerbert. Our salads were quite small. We can get bigger and better salads at Applebees. Overall we would not recommend this restaurant because of the expensive and poor quality food. We will not be back.
