Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

Love this place! I always stop here for lunch whenever I’m in Fresno. It’s usually busy, which tells you how good it is. The owner is super welcoming and always greets us and seats us. Parking can be a little tough, especially between 12–1 PM, but it’s worth it. I love the garlic and spicy sauces—my favorites. The chicken kabob and salmon are my go-to dishes. Definitely recommend!

I stopped by Mediterranean Grill and Cafe while traveling from the airport to the train station. With a couple of hours to spare before my departure, I decided to grab a bite and I’m so glad I did. From the moment I walked in, I was warmly welcomed by the staff. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly, and you can immediately tell that customer service is something they truly care about. Now, let’s talk about the food absolutely delicious. I had the Fattoush Chicken Salad and every bite was packed with flavor. Fresh ingredients, well balanced seasoning, and authentic Mediterranean taste made this meal one to remember. What really stood out, though, was the kindness of the staff. My phone battery was running low, and when I asked if there was a place to charge it, Dylan a gentleman at the front kindly offered to plug it in near the register for me. It might seem like a small gesture, but in a travel situation, it meant a lot. All in all, this place offers not only amazing food but genuine hospitality. I’m grateful I stumbled upon it, and I highly recommend it if you’re in the area.

Check this place out! I really do like the food here. It’s amazing. I’ve been coming here for years and it’s very consistent. Ambiance looks like a cafeteria. Having said that, I don’t know if something has changed, but I went in yesterday to what looked like a new staff. The food was similar, but my chicken Fatoosh did not seem fresh at all. The lettuce was super soggy, chicken was cold and over cooked. Really disappointing. Service was awful. I sat down and waited for order for 10 minutes. I was in the side room and there was hardly anyone in there at the time. When I ordered, I told my server that I needed napkins and silverware. About 15 minutes later she came back with my salad and even said “oh, you need utensils”. I then waited another 5 minutes and eventually asked the buser for silverware and napkins, which he brought quickly. I never saw my server again until I paid my bill. It was weird. Not sure if it’s new management or new owners, but I felt like I was in the Twilight Zone.
