Mei offers the trifecta of Asian culinary delights with Chinese, Thai, and Japanese dishes. The service was excellent, both friendly and prompt. The ambiance is pleasant. The seating in our booth felt upright and corrected my otherwise slovenly posture. Overall, the food was very good. The crab Rangoon was crispy with the right amount of filling. The General Tso’s chicken was interesting. The chicken itself was excellent but the sauce felt almost elastic. The beef on the beef and broccoli was almost too soft. I wasn’t sure I was eating beef. The sauce tasted good but could have been slightly thicker. With so many different cuisine options, you’re certain to find something you like and it will be an enjoyable meal.

We had an incredible dinner at Mei Asian Cuisine last night! From the moment we walked in, the service was top-notch , attentive and friendly. The food was the absolute star of the show. We started with the Crab Rangoon and dumplings , both of which were perfectly crispy and flavorful. We tried a couple of sushi rolls which were fresh and flavorful. For the main course, the Mongolian Beef was tender and served over those signature crispy noodles, and the Yellow Curry had just the right amount of heat and richness. We paired everything with their excellent cocktails—the Lemon drop Martini and the Margarita were the perfect refreshing touch. If you’re in Dallas and looking for high-quality Asian fusion with a great atmosphere and even better service, this is the spot.
