In town for a Bills/Panthers game and just went to the Mellow Mushroom. The atmosphere was really cool, a mix of wacky and retro-futuristic. The staff was beyond great. Our waitress was on point the whole time we were there. And the manager stopped by and was super friendly. If you are in Charlotte you should definitely give this place a try.

Haven't been to a Mellow Mushroom in years! We went to the Charlotte FC game and wanted to come earlier so we could eat before kickoff. The service was good for as busy as they were. Pizza was great and the new pizza egg roll things were pretty tasty. The pizza was a little on the greasy side but with the amount of cheese was on the pizza, it was understandable! We'll be back.

I stopped at Mellow Mushroom (Uptown) as a dinner pit stop during a late-night bike ride with my kids. We split a Pacific Rim pizza (their red sauce, mozzarella, honey ham, applewood-smoked bacon, pineapple, and jalapeños) but we skipped the onions and jalapeños for the kiddos sake. Even without those toppings, it was an easy 12 out of 10. I’ve eaten a ridiculous amount of pizza in my life and I’ve never come across whatever magic Mellow Mushroom puts in their crust. It’s somehow the best part of the whole thing and I’m convinced I’d still crush every slice if they swapped the toppings for nuts and bolts. As long as that crust recipe never changes, they’ll always be a top pizza spot in my book. And one last note... the ranch is next-level. It’s outrageously good. They charge for it, which feels borderline illegal, but honestly it’s worth every penny.
