Mellow Mushroom Rocky River

Mellow Mushroom is an excellent place to get some delicious pizza and a refreshing beer on the tap. We had the Holy Shiitake pizza and it did not disappoint: the vegan cheese was cheesy and stretchy without being gummy and sticky, and the grilled shiitake had the texture and chewiness of steak (I think!). The crust was light and crispy and chewy, all just the right amount. The wine thing was super tasty. We also had the “cheesy” bread appetizer - personally, I did not care for it. It tasted too much like school cafeteria food to me, but it was a success with everyone else at the table, so it must have been just me. The atmosphere is kind of funky with big art deco pictures and murals. I like that the dining area is big and airy room so everyone is not stuffed in their elbow to elbow. It was a good outing!

I love the vibe of this place! Beautiful artwork on the walls. The service was top notch and their food is delicious. They put parmesan on their pretzel bites, so good! I also had a calzone, it was very tasty and very cheesy. :) I can't wait to go back!

I heard a radio personality bragging about the wonderful pizza he found in Rocky River. It was a mushroom pizza. My wife loves mushrooms. So we drove 1 hour 45 minutes to the Mellow Mushroom to have one. We loved it! The service was great and the atmosphere was great too. We ordered some wings, just in case...the wings were the best we ever had. We will definitely return.
