I had eaten at Mellow Mushroom a long time ago at another location and wasn't impressed, but all of the reviews were positive so I thought I would give it another try, so I ordered a pizza to go from Mellow Mushroom. I was extremely unhappy to get home and open the box to find this. It looks like it was literally slung into the box and half of the cheese was in one big glop hanging outside the crust, which was mostly burned. I was beyond disappointed with this mess. I'm thinking that I was right the first time years ago. As for going there again, it will be a no. I paid way too much for this pizza for me to look at it and lose my desire to eat it. The only reason I gave you 3 stars is because the person at your take-out counter was superb.

DO NOT GET THE MEATBALL APPETIZER!!! This has recently changed. It used to be three perfectly cooked succulent large Italian meatballs, on an oval plate on a tasty red sauce topped with shaved cheese. Now, to save money, corporate has replaced it with an item that costs the same, and has one third of the meatballs, which are small and round. After a very rough day I went to take solace with a beer and one of my favorite appetizers on Broad Street. When it came out I thought they made the wrong dish. I received an overcooked over sauced small meatball tray that looked like it used frozen meatballs from Walmart. I was informed that this is the way it is now. I left five stars, because the other food here is still amazing, and the renovation looks awesome, but the staff should let all of the regulars as well as new customers know about this item, as bad as it is. I have always been very impressed with the quality of this local mellow mushroom but am shocked by how bad this appetizer was and that they would serve it on a menu that is otherwise fantastic. This new meatball appetizer wins my award for worst appetizer on Broad Street.

This is our second time here and we love those place. Love key vibes and cold drinks. The food is Mellow Mushroom quality too. Good job guys. They also have parking in the back of the street is full. Added bonus.
