Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

Wow! Second time we’ve eaten here and both times the food was delicious. Some of the best Mexican food I’ve had in ages. Last time I enjoyed the shrimp ceviche, this time we had the regular fish ceviche- both were so delicious. We had vegetarian enchiladas, the Chile relleno, and tasajo (Tri tip thinly sliced). We finished with the flan. Everything was so delicious. The waitress was great- checked on us often. The only thing I could complain about is that we don’t live closer.

Food was good, had lunch with several friends and everyone like there entrees. I wanted to try their Mole but it was different from the more Chocolaty darker Mole I am familiar with in my travels. It was orange in color and still very good. The server was excellent, she was very friendly and helpful. Definitely a nice casual place Mexican restaurant with a regional twist so some dishes might taste a little different than you are use too. I going to back to try them for breakfast next time.

This place is truly a hidden gem! We had no idea it had been open for the past seven years—our friends recommended it, and WOW, I’m so glad they did. I had the wet burrito with chocolate mole (they offer three different kinds!), and I can’t wait to go back and try the others. My burrito was absolutely delicious—authentic, homemade, and full of flavor. The chips and salsa were fresh and crunchy, and our server was incredibly sweet. The overall vibe was warm and welcoming. We’ll definitely be back. Honestly, just writing this is making me hungry to go back today! There’s plenty of parking in the back, and they also have extra seating in another room inside.
