Mezquite Mexican Kitchen and Bar

👍🤩💝🏆GO. YOU WON’T BE DISAPPOINTED. I had a taste for Mexican food while visiting the Avon, Ohio area on business back in the summer of 2025. This one popped up so I took a chance. I have been meaning to post a review for a while. THEY SERVE DELICIOUS AUTHENTIC MEXICAN FOOD. I am always seated immediately. I usually arrive around 3:30pm-5pm after a business meeting. It can get very busy if you arrive in the evening because I have seen people waiting to be seated as I leave when it’s closer to the “typical “dinner” hours. Every menu item I have tried, from the chips and salsa, the adult beverages, to the entrees, all have great flavor. Everything is perfectly seasoned and cooked properly. The only thing I think should be improved is the Guacamole. It has a great flavor BUT….it is “over mixed”, meaning it has a “whipped” / “baby food texture” (to me in my humble opinion), which for me, as a half Mexican, is a ‘turn off’ for me. I almost didn’t eat it because of the unappetizing texture….I’m sorry but it looks like baby food to me. The FLAVOR IS THERE though, so if you can get past the “baby food texture” you’ll love the taste of the guacamole. They also serve a guacamole cream type sauce with the beef QuesaBirria tacos. The birria tacos are awesome and the consume served with it is great too. It fills up quickly. The owner (I think he’s the owner) seems to be there daily or often. I have seen him talking to patrons and people who might be regular customers. Everyone is friendly. The food comes out pretty quickly and is plated nicely. So far I have been back to visit this restaurant every time I’m in town on business. My server is usually Daniel. He is always friendly and attentive. On a recent visit we had Allie / Alejandra as our waitress and she was equally as fantastic as Daniel. I have observed that people do bring their children. I love love love that the restaurant has plenty of equipment / accessories to accommodate baby car seats, and booster seats / high chairs for little kids to sit independently. ♿️The restaurant is wheelchair accessible. If you call from your car, they hold the doors open and will even come out to help you.💝 🅿️There are plenty of free parking spaces in the lot. 👍🏆KEEP WINNING. The consistency with quality service, quality ingredients, appropriate serving portions, good prices, clean and stocked bathrooms, clean and fresh smelling restaurant along with the friendly staff will keep me coming back. I wish this restaurant continued success and I hope the quality and great tasting food continues for decades to come after the owner retires.🙏💝

First time here and the food was very good..! Brought my parents . My Dad got a burrito supreme, Mom got a chicken quesadilla w Yellow rice and I got the four enchiladas w white rice .. let’s just say the portions are plentiful stuffed with lots of meat..! Definitely will return..!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️THIS RESTAURANT IS FANTASTIC. In my opinion the is food fresh, and it comes out fast. It’s authentic Mexican food with quality ingredients, and the waiters and waitresses provide friendly quality service. I can’t believe someone gave this restaurant less than 5 stars but oh well, we’re all entitled to our food review opinions. If I lived closer I would eat here more often. I plan my dining visits here to coordinate with my Costco visits. I have never ever had a bad meal here. I wish the guacamole wasn’t so over processed/blended/smooth but hey it’s okay, it still tastes great. The margaritas and other alcohol drinks tastes great. The menu prices are fair. I highly recommend you give this restaurant a try.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
