Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

Great asset to the neighborhood. Always have several dishes to choose from them, often several fresh and ready to cook immediately. Put this place in your rotation. We enjoy chicken toscano, pistachio chicken, coconut chicken and many of the pork dishes too.

I went up to the counter for carryout. They have a decent amount of gluten-free but hardly any dairy-free. The owner seems to think that cheese needs to be in everything. It doesn't. I ordered a Pistachio Crusted Chicken single frozen meal. It was fairly priced. The lady who waited on me was both helpful and delightful. A few days later, when I was ready to cook it, I followed the directions, except for the second cooking, when I cooked it for only 10 minutes instead of 15 and at 350 instead of 375. I discovered I could have done without the second cooking altogether, as the chicken breast was overdone and dry, and the edges of everything were burnt. The flavor of the chicken and the crust were very good. The flavor of the sauce that was included with them was very bland, with the tiniest touch of lime or something citrusy, but mostly a very cloying oil taste it felt like it coated your tongue and throat. I could not eat it, and made my own sauce instead. When I looked at the ingredients, I knew why. It's made with canola oil instead of olive oil. It needs much more lime taste and it needs to have no canola. Olive oil would taste so much better. I would go back to try other dishes they offer if they are g.f. and d.f. I'd also love to try this dish again if she chooses to improve it. Thanks for a nice facility and staff, with good clean pure food, fairly priced, with a good philosophy behind it all.

They have the most delicious and healthy meal options that our entire family loves. This is a great go to for me when getting meals for friends when they need a little helping hand. Thank you Mindful Kitchen for sharing nutritious food in our community.
