It was not crowded when I went at 4:45 ish. If you eat during lunch hours, you get free Naan. Lunch ends at 3:00. The food is fresh and amazing! The service is incredible. I ordered the first dish on the vegetarian menu at a spicy 3. Its a must have.

Great Indian spot in Hamilton. We were greated right away and seated. I ordered the Tikki chicken and my husband ordered the chicken curry with a 4 for spice and we had the garlic naan. The Tikki chicken came out sizzling and was so good. The chicken was spiced perfectly and was very tender. My husband's Curry chicken was good, he said he probably will get a 5 level spice next time. The garlic naan was so flavorful and you can taste the fresh garlic. We will definitely be going back to explore more items on the menu. The staff was very friendly and attentive without being annoying.

Mirchi is a great addition to downtown Hamilton. The service is good and the atmosphere and cleanliness is great. The food however is less than average. It’s not a good representation of Indian food. It’s a lot of oil and misses a lot flavors that authentic Indian food has. It’s a very watered down version of Indian food. The garlic naan is extraordinary, yes, but any gravy you order is the same tomato curry base with just different vegetables or meats. It’s not as authentic as I’d like but it’s still a nice change once in a while.
