Miso in Anchorage is a great spot for delicious, reasonably priced food. Everything I tried was fresh and full of flavor, and the quality really stands out for the price. The atmosphere is welcoming and the service is friendly, which makes the experience even better. Definitely a place worth visiting again!

Last Sunday, the 14th around 5:40PM, I arrived at your restaurant with a friend. I expected it to be busy and indeed all tables were occupied when we came in. Right in front of us other guests entered and were immediately attended to — their phone numbers were taken and they were added to the waiting list. Meanwhile we were completely ignored. The staff were running back and forth and did not acknowledge us for about 3–4min, even though we were clearly standing together at the entrance. The owner was also there and definitely saw us. I am a regular customer — I’ve been to your place more than 10 times before, including picking up food as a courier — but this time I came simply as a customer to dine in. Eventually I had to ask myself if we could also be added to the waiting list, our number was taken at 5:50 PM and we were told to wait. I said we would wait in the car and asked to be called when a table became available. We left and honestly, I already knew no one would call us back. By 6:20 PM we were already sitting in another sushi bar and having a great evening there. The service there was much better and the rolls looked and tasted noticeably better as well. The most disappointing part is that no one ever called us back that entire evening. As a result, you lost at least two customers — and also a courier who will now ignore orders from your restaurant. P.S. I visited about a month ago and the food was decent. However, the attitude of one waitress (Latina appearance) was very unpleasant — no smile, very indifferent, with an arrogant expression as if customers owed her something. On the other hand, the second waitress (Asian appearance, with tattoos) who took the order was 10/10 — professional, polite and respectful. Big respect to her😉 Overall this visit left a very bad impression. Unfortunately after this experience, I can’t say I feel welcome at Miso Sushi

Fantastic sushi spot in Anchorage! The food was fresh, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. But what really set this place apart was the service—Keila was hands down the best server we’ve had during our entire week in Alaska. Friendly, attentive, and genuinely warm, she made the whole experience even better. A perfect final dinner for our trip. Highly recommend!
