Don’t Judge a Book by Its Cover! Omg!! My husband and I went to Missa Brown’s in Salisbury last night, and let me tell you — this place is a hidden gem! When we first pulled up, I was a little nervous because there was literally no one there! No cars, no guests inside but we decided to give it a try anyway. I’m SO glad we did! We ordered the 6-piece wing meal with two sides and cornbread. Our wings were tossed in mambo sauce, and for sides we had mac & cheese, collard greens, and (don’t judge me 🤣) a cheesesteak egg roll because it’s my favorite! 🗣️ MY GOD TODAY! The food was absolutely delicious. Rich, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. The wings had this smoky taste, like they were grilled before being fried — loved that! The greens had a slightly sweet touch that balanced them perfectly, and the mac & cheese was creamy, cheesy, and had this hint of Gouda that took it over the top. The cornbread was good too — I just like mine a bit sweeter personally. The young couple running the place was so sweet and professional, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. If you haven’t tried Missa Brown’s yet, please stop by and show them some love! You won’t regret it. Tell them the Winders sent you! 😊

My son’s catfish was fresh. The Philly cheesesteak eggrolls were also a hit. Cornbread unmatched. Yams that could’ve doubled as a dessert sooo tasty. Mac n cheese had the perfect cheese to noodle ratio. The strawberry pretzel salad is straight from the Lord. If I need catering services at some point they’ll have my business. Everything is cooked to order.

Gem of a find. Located in the same Center where Goin' Nuts used to be and occupies the same space that Rosenfeld 's used to be. Excellent food at reasonable prices. Don't let the Soul Food name fool you. We ordered take out for 4 people. Everything was absolutely perfect. No complaints. You must give them a try.
