Mister O1 Extraordinary Pizza Flower Mound

We were excited to try this place because a couple people told us how good it was and the high ratings. The good -The service was great and the restaurant was attractive. We shared a salad that was very good and big enough for 4 people. We all enjoyed it. The children liked the dough they were given and the activity book. We had a birthday and they played happy birthday over a loud speaker ( that was fun) and gave us a free Nutella pizza which was very nice and tasty. But the pizza just wasn’t that great. I like thin crust pizza but this was extremely thin and wimpy and none of them had a lot of toppings. The star pizza was fun but was the taste was underwhelming. They add a 20% tip on parties of 6 or more which is fine but my husband didn’t notice. I had seen it on the menu and told him but I’m sure it’s often missed.

This place is amazing! My dad and I decided spontaneously to try a new place and honestly we weren’t expecting too much in the flower mound area, but wow this place had great pizza. Stepping in you immediately smell garlic and bread. We ordered the burata and balsamic appetizer and it came with tomato and arugula. The ingredients were fresh and with the bread and olive oil, it tasted like burrata we have had in Italy! We also ordered their famous star pizza (the star Carlos) which also tasted so fresh and the bread was crispy. There could have probably been a bit more meat on the pizza but otherwise we thoroughly enjoyed it with the spicy oil We will definitely be back to try more pizzas and maybe the dessert pizza! Amazing food! The service is the best we’ve ever had. Abby was fantastic!!! She gave the baby some dough to play with and kept her happy and entertained, she explained the history of the place and the whole menu to us. We each got our own pizza, a starter, dessert and a bottle of wine. Everything was so good. Will definitely be back. Oh and we got a chef bear for the baby that was adorable!
