Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

Come support and enjoy a true mom and pop place, nothing fancy ascetic wise, but the food is excellent. We had 6 rolls, hot sake and the fried cheesecake. Every roll was so perfectly balanced and fresh and beautifully displayed. A few pieces fell apart but it was busy. I think the dragon might be a favorite but they were all good. Kid friendly. The owners were super nice and welcoming.

Interesting restaurant. It appeared to be a daycare/Japanese Restaurant all in one. Food was not bad. Nothing special imho. I had the pork Katsu & my wife had the crunch roll. It was pretty awesome presentation. She also had pork gyosa for an appetizer which were in my opinion the best thing we ate. Also fried cheesecake for dessert which also was very good. All in all, I would rate the experience a 3-1/2 out of 5 possible star rating

The food was ok. The best thing we got was the onion soup is was sooooo good! I asked for spicy salmon sushi it looked really good but had no taste. Was not spicy at all. They brought out one dish at a time which was a bit annoying. There is not enough people working there they need to hire more people. It looks like it’s also a daycare which is pretty distracting. It took forever to get the check and then we sat for 20 mins waiting for our credit card to be returned and we ended up getting up and the waitress was suprised she thought we left … hire more people. How many times can one person apologize, stop apologizing … the fried banana was given to us for our extremely long wait time to order and to receive the food.
