Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

Founding Farmers has a fun, funky ambience and an interesting somewhat adventurous menu. It's well labeled and accommodating. The food is tasty and hearty. The service was excellent. Our server was hard of hearing and was an exceptional communicator as well as being warm, friendly, and efficient. The prices are appropriate considering the quality and quantity of the food. It's a bit loud, due to the very high ceilings, but good conversation wasn't impeded. We all enjoyed our food very much. The hot chocolate and warm cookies were a standout. We will definitely return!

I had dinner here with my boyfriend and his family and we really enjoyed our meal. I loved the cozy and casual yet elevated vibe. I had such a hard time deciding what to even order because there were so so so many options that sounded great! We got the black pepper wings and cornbread appetizers, both of which were delicious. I had the butternut squash ravioli and it was amazing! For dessert we split the gingerbread blondie and it was a little hard but the flavor was very festive. I will be back to try more of the menu!

This was our first time visiting Founding Farmers. Davida was our server and she was awesome. Everything came timely and tasted delicious. Highly recommend the crab cake Benedict and strawberries and cream waffle. Their hot chocolate is soooo good. Like drinking melted chocolate with the freshest cream I've ever had. If you're on the fence hop off and get in there. And ask for Davida.
