Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

First time visitors, passing through. The outside looks older, inside is nice and clean. It does have an old smell to it. Food came out quick, bread was good and they ask if you want more, meals are good just not original, needs more flavor so it doesn't taste like Olive Garden bland food, almost like fast food

This was my third time in, even after the lackluster experience I had the second time, when one of my pizzas was clearly not fresh. This time my wife and I dined in, thinking we would get fresher food. After ignoring the grease stains and stickiness on both of our menus, We ordered a large Margherita Pizza to eat in, and a Meat and Cheese calzone to take home. The pizza had maybe four to six pieces of fresh mozzarella on a third of the pizza, the rest was regular shredded mozzarella, also minimal shredded basil instead of torn, and as for the tomato slices that are supposed to be signature on a Margherita Pizza, there were four or five chunks of tomato. Upon boxing up the other half of our pizza the first slice I picked up fell apart due to the pizza dough being rolled and cooked unevenly (raw dough consistency). As for the service, we'll it was ok...except for the server being out of control with spraying cleaner everywhere, to the point where she sprayed my wife as she was drinking. I still tipped 20%. Today when we split our calzone, was the final insult there was the equivalent of maybe 2 meatballs, and a sad and almost nonexistent amount of ricotta and mozzarella. However there was plenty of extra underseasonend dough, and canned marinara sauce. We will not be back. I usually don't leave bad reviews I just decide to not go back. But everyone keeps charging more and more, and expecting people to pay more and more as they say less. Eat here if you want, I won't, nor will my wife.

Found this place by accident on our way back to Tulsa from Galveston. Man, the steak was unbelievably good and the vodka sauce on my wife's tortellini la pana was so good, I secretly stole a bunch when she wasn't looking. Even the rolls were great.
