I had high expectations for Mogo since there’s always a long line, but honestly, I left disappointed. I spent about $20 for three tacos, and only one of them was even halfway decent. The fish taco was the best of the bunch, the flavor was decent, and it had a nice crunch. But the tortilla itself was cold and bland, almost like it came straight out of a grocery store package. The shrimp taco had good seasoning, but the batter was undercooked and mushy, which ruined it. The chicken taco was by far the worst: super overcooked, dry, and had a strange taste. To make it worse, it came topped with cilantro, which wasn’t listed on the menu. The small kimchi cucumber side was actually the highlight, fresh and tasty. But the regular kimchi was mushy and unpleasant. On top of the food issues, the service setup was incredibly inefficient. The line moves painfully slow, and it took forever just to get through a few customers. It’s baffling that they don’t have a simple QR code or mobile ordering option in 2025, the wait feels unnecessary and outdated. Overall, Mogo wasn’t worth the hype, the price, or the wait.

My favorite place to eat lunch when I’m at the beach in Asbury or Long Branch! The tacos are so tasty! The staff is friendly and accommodating. A perfect beach eatery.

Last summer while driving around New Jersey, we stopped to look at the beach and the Stone Pony and stopped here for a quick lunch. This is a pop up food stall. We had the tacos and ate looking at the beach and ocean. Very nice. Hope they return every summer.
