Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

We were looking for a brunch or lunch spot before a matinee at CineArts. We were drawn to MOHI because of the farm-to-table menu and the outdoor seating. When we arrived around 12:45pm on a Sunday, they were able to seat us in less than 10 minutes. The hostess was lovely, our server was bubbly and all of the staff who brought our food were gracious and professional. Speaking of the service, we were delighted to see our food served very quickly. We sat at a two person table under the trees along 3rd Street, which was perfectly shaded for a mid day meal. The table had ample space for our orders and the chairs were reasonably comfortable. I ordered a match latte frappe, which was sweet, creamy and refreshing, and the Harvest Bowl, which was scrumptious and savory. I especially like the beet hummus. My date ordered the croissant breakfast sandwich, which came with a side of roasted potatoes and fruit salad. He loved the addition of pesto to the sandwich and found the bacon to be adequately crispy. To drink, he had a cappuccino, which was foamy and delightful. The atmosphere was a little loud between the packed tables and the music playing, but not too loud to hear each other across the table. All in all, it was an excellent experience and we are excited to come here again for brunch during the summer.

Been working in MH for years, and this was my first time at this restaurant. The ambience is really nice and visually pleasing. What caught my eye was the coffee bean roasting machine, which was awesome. My ahi tuna bowl was fresh and nicely done. Cup of coffee was the best. What was lacking was service, not sure if it was because of lunch rush, but customer service should not be ignored. When we sat down no one at the restaurant gave us menus, waiter was too robotic, and did not once asked us if we needed anything else. Overall, I liked the food but unfortunately will not be bringing my customers for business lunches if I am going to be ignored.

Almost everything we ordered was pretty delicious! Highly recommend the corn! It is the most delicious and well-seasoned corn I’ve ever had!! We were a party of 6 and also ordered mac and cheese, French toast, yogurt with granola, veggie hash, kale and apple salad, and fungi pizza and garden pesto pizza, and sourdough bread. The two things we disliked were the garden hash and bread. The bread was pretty rock hard after 5 mins. Service was great!
