Hmm. Eaten here about 6 times. The wait is always long, whether take out or dining in. Today was takeout and I t just kind of solidified that I won’t come here myself. Ordered a regular sushi lunch special and notified staff of an avocado allergy; also asked for substitutions like cucumber for any that come with it. On the salmon, I got little to no cucumber and on the eel I got DOUBLE cucumber. I tried scraping the avocado out (as the allergy isn’t severe, however the eel pieces were small and removing the avocado destroyed the roll entirely…. Pics attached. I’m not mad, just disappointed. I’ve had other entrees too and the flavor profile just doesn’t quite hit the mark so that’s the 3 stars there. Service is always polite, but at times not prompt. This isn’t due to rude behavior or dismissiveness, I think they just have other tasks and usually only keep one waitress/ server around which causes delays. Atmosphere is nice enough but despite the tapestries, the walls are a bit bare and the whole place feels like it hasn’t fully come into being. Perhaps utilizing some room dividers for the main dining area would add to the feng shui? But then again, there’s a space in the back I’ve never seen used so it’s hard to say.

Came in from the cold looking for soup! Some of the best clear soup of my life. Also had a salmon tartare and agedashi tofu. Very very good. My sister got a steak meal. the steak was a bit bland to me, but she enjoyed it so that's what's important! Definitely will be back when I'm in the area.

My mom and I came here for the first time for a late lunch. The sushi was fantastic! The servers were friendly and polite. We will definitely be back.
