Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

I didn’t manage to take a proper photo of the food because it was so good we couldn’t wait to start eating. I tend to be very selective about the restaurants I try, and since I had never heard of Momo Heaven, my expectations were modest. Those expectations were quickly exceeded. The chowmein amount was generous and perfectly crisp, the fried momo was extremely satisfying, the goat curry was rich and boldly spiced, and the thukpa was deeply flavorful, complemented by impressively crispy chicken. I highly recommend this place. Easily one of the best restaurants in Central PA. On top of that, the owner is super friendly and a pleasure to talk to.

I wouldn't consider south Asian food in general to be my wheelhouse, but I'm absolutely open to trying new things. I've had some local friends say this place was really good. It's definitely up my wife's alley so we checked it out. I really enjoyed the chili chicken momos (in the metal tin). I would go back and have that again. I'm into chai, and theirs is probably one of the better ones in Carlisle. My wife enjoyed their Tandoori chicken (in the styrofoam container.)
