Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

So I had been told by multiple people to try this place and honestly, not sure. The pizza was ok, it's not like East Coast that pizza. They have some unique flavors, which I did a half Avalanche and Half Call of the wild which said it had reindeer sausage, I didn't see any. My pizza seemed burnt. Its pretty noisy so if you are trying to have a conversation it will be hard. Nice fire pit on patio. Overall wasn't impressed it was meh. The one cool thing is at the bar they had a VDub poster on the wall ✌️.

Popular spot and I understand why. Pizza is delicious! They let you split any pizza in half if with any other pizza on their menu. It’s awesome and a great way to split a pie with someone. I also had the Moose Pie for dessert, which is just their version of a mud pie. It’s delicious if you’re looking for something cold to eat in Alaska and it’s also very shareable with someone else. You could go there with someone and only buy 1 pizza and a moose pie but essentially each get your own pizza by splitting it. Awesome cheap date for Anchorage!

One of those places that is totally worth the hype!! Great ambiance- cozy interior that doesn’t feel cramped even though it is bustling, huge fire pits outside to wait by making even the winter cozy. The wait was only 30 minutes even at 7pm on a Saturday during busy winter season. Easy to grab a quick, delicious local beer from the bar to enjoy on the patio while you wait to get buzzed for your table. Great food! Had the Diablo cheese sticks. Two kinds of cheese with a house made chipotle ranch dipping sauce. The pizza was gigantic and loaded with fresh toppings. Tons of good veggie options. We did a half and half with the veggie delight and wild mushroom pies. The Denali sauce on the mushroom pie was insanely good, bursting with flavor, and the veggie was perfectly loaded but to where everything still cooked really nicely. Great service! Our server and everyone we interacted with and saw was so warm and friendly, adding to the overall good vibes of this place. Happy to have bought a cool shirt to remember this unique spot by. Definitely has me wanting to check out the other locations, and we will when we are back in town.
