Wonderful place with charm and good food. This is what Cracker Barrel wishes it could be. Everything, from the homemade beans and hushpuppies to the grilled shrimp and steamed vegetables that we had, were excellent. If they have it, ask for the mossy grove desert. It’s one of the best things I have eaten in my life.

We have eaten there for years and never left disappointed. Schoolhouse is not just a theme, hundreds of medical professionals, business leaders, farmers and teachers started their education in the Little Red Schoolhouse in the Village of Mossy Grove. Excellent service too!

This has consistently been one of my favorite restaurants since I can remember. Sylvia is a hoot. Get the steak. You won’t be disappointed.
