If you are ever in the mood for authentic, colorful, and delightfully flavorful Indian food, you must take the time to make a stop at Mother India in Lewiston, Maine to indulge in their flavors. Every dish is freshly made and two of my favorites are Nav Rattan Korma (so many veggies and oh so good--->picture included) as well as Mango Chicken! The family and the staff at Mother India go above and beyond to make sure you are well taken care of. Every time I have had an opportunity to taste a dish from Mother India, I am always impressed with the quality and plentiful portions! I love having leftovers to bring to work with me the next day :)

We ordered takeout from this restaurant, and the experience was quite disappointing. The Chicken Tandoori was awful — it didn’t resemble authentic Indian cuisine at all. The Butter Naans were soggy, and the Paneer Tikka Masala was very watery. Not recommended
