Classic Southern-style cooking, self-serve, hot, fresh, and exactly what you hope for when you walk in. The dessert selection was excellent, and the ice cream was a big hit with the kids. What really stood out was the service. Even with a full house, the staff was friendly, attentive, and on top of everything. They also offer a discount for kids under 12, which is a great touch and much appreciated for families. If you’re looking for real Southern comfort food done right, this place delivers. Easy 5 stars from us.

This was our second visit, and I must say, we were disappointed. Best part of the chicken was the fried coating. Same for the cutlet. The rest was underwhelming. Our server offered to refill our drinks on three different occasions, she didn't. Just ran right by, even though we were trying to get her attention. Yes, it was lunch, yes they were busy, there were enough employees, but, nope. The atmosphere was nostalgia, the place was saturated with memorabilia. That was interesting. However, it was a huge room, and pretty dark...at noon. Everyone was nice, but, disappointed.
