Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

Delicious, very special food, lovely casual atmosphere. Value was higher than many places that charge 2-3x as much. We had the chicken and waffles (crunchy, crusty, crispy, sweet savory) $20 and pork brisket hash (braised, broiled, browned, big and chunky—very special) $20. We drooled over the shakshukkah and burgers to the left and right of us. Lovely Violet Hour mocktail $9, and a local beer $8. Carolina and her associates were lovely, attentive staff!!

Everything is was top notch! Service, hospitality, and especially the delicious food. Went for brunch, had to try the Martini flights, were excellent and strong! Food was yummy we had the two brisket hash, avocado toast, and breakfast burrito. All amazing and would consider stopping in if in the area.

Had an early lunch here during the week and was greeted by a friendly server who was quick to bring a menu and show their specials. I ordered the steak sandwich special. The steak was on the chewy and fatty side but the combination of ingredients on the sandwich was very good. I asked if the sandwich came with fries and I was told it did but apparently they weren’t included in the listed price. So when I got my check I was surprised to see a $2 up charge for the fries. I didn’t order an alcoholic drink but the drink menu looked appealing and I may try one next visit
