The meat quality is pretty good and the veg is fresh. The individual small pots are nice but I think a bigger pot for the table is more practical AND you can have different broths. The sauce station is well maintain and offered a good selection of sauces, oils, and herbs. Overall a good experience but I think they face stiff competition with Momo down the street.

Good food. Would recommend trying a set the first time to see what you like and then order individual meats and sides in the future

TLDR: If you are new to Hot Pot, this place is *definitely* for you. If you had hot pot before and want to look for authentic stuff, then you need to make your way to San Gabriel, Rowland Heights or Irvine. 3/5 Bang for the Buck. At $75 for two person, there are alternatives in Torrance area - MoMo Paradise or Happy Sheep, they give you an AYCE experience at similar price point. The price is the same as their locations in the Bay Area, which means it could be on the pricier side for LA people. 5/5 Ambience. At MUMU you are paying the premium for the ambience and proximity to Del Ami after a shopping day. However if the menu was NOT all you can eat. I don’t mind paying a little extra to get more varieties to try and I hope the owner can consider doing AYCE in the future. 4/5 Food. Everything was great, the Australian Wagyu tastes as amazing as the Japanese ones. The New Zealand Lamb is gamy. If you like that taste you will love it, but if you hate it, you will not take a second bite. Seafood and veggies were fresh. However again, I hope they offer a buffet style veggie counter so I can pick my own veggies. 5/5 Service. Service was impeccable. Servers will bring broth to you and add soup for you. Self service sauce bar was also fine, though I wished the sesame/peanut sauce to be a little thicker. Not a big deal to complain. Also they want honest reviews on Yelp (and they give you free ice cream after the review). That’s a good sign for new restaurants. Will come back - if AYCE becomes an option.
