Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

We spotted this while traveling for sports and were super excited. This is the first Native restaurant we've had the pleasure of visiting. We've had food at Powwows, and have been wanting to try more Native foods for a while. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was cozy, and the staff was friendly. Very fluffy fry bread- so yummy- and my husband commented on the excellent chorizo they used for his dish. I also loved the wojapi (berry jam) that we had with our extra side of fry bread. Sorry... we devoured it so quickly, I didnt get a pic. It was that good! A great stop for brunch. Plus they had the football game on, which was an unexpected bonus. Highly recommend! 👍🏻👍🏻

Hidden gem! Fry bed is fresh and soft. The native taco is super tasty. Had all the goodies on top - ground beef, chili, lettuce, etc. The Nacho Supreme could use more toppings. It's a bit too simple for it being a 'supreme'.

We came in a bit late for Sunday, around 6pm, so it was empty. Honestly I think it was just the lady behind the counter. She greeted us right away and made us feel very welcome. The cafe itself is beautiful, very open and clean but inviting and intimate. She was very kind in letting us know what wasn’t available and even modified my Shirley Temple with ginger ale since they were out of 7-Up (less sweet but still delicious!!). All of this said, it was a bit of a wait for food but MAYBE 25 minutes for the fried zucchini and the stuffed fry bread. Worth every minute of the wait! Having grown up here in the PNW and learning all about the Native American tribes here, someone was always available to make fry bread; but I haven’t had it since I was little. The stuffed fry bread was so warm and comforting and familiar in a way but still something new. We already can’t wait to come back and try breakfast and ALL the desserts!! (The 90’s VEVO music video playlist was an added bonus 😉)
