Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

My 1st time here and WoW I was surprised how friendly and giving the lady behind the counter was. Even though she was dealing with multiple customers she gave a sample dish to try and said let her know what was my favorite. After tasting each sample I was amazed that each sample was unique but each was also delicious. It was hard but I picked two, one was like a chicken stew and the the other was goat. She recommended a purple drink to go with the meal. I sat and enjoyed every bit and yes she taught me how to dip the fufu in with the stew. This meal was filling and could have been enough for two. This was easy to rate as everything I experienced here was excellent and this place gets 5 shining stars! ❤️👍 I forgot to mention this place is below street level and is somewhat hard to find but certainly worth it.

My boyfriend and I never had Nigerian food before and we wanted to try it since it looked soo good on TikTok. I was actually craving the food without even trying it before. So while we were in the city, we went and I got to say that every bite was so soo delicious. Super flavorful, comforting and spicy too. I just love it sooo much. There’s an option for spicy and nonspicy, we got spicy and it was a nicee spicy. Not too spicy but spicy enough which was really good. Everything was like seasoned just right so it was perfect. We got Suya chicken wings and they were so crispy and seasoned so good. We also got Egusi soup and it was so so yummy and unique. We liked to dip the chicken wings in the soup, it’s so flavorful. I also got to say that the customer service was phenomenal. We got offered water just because and she didn’t charge us for it. It just felt like eating at a relative’s house they just care for you. And we got to try some of their other flavors too. Everyone was nice and I recommended this place 1000% if you’re wanting to try Nigerian food/if you’re craving it. Next time we’re in town, I def want to come here again.

I was absolutely blown away at the flavor!!! The owner is a very sweet woman! She let us sample all the soups, we didn’t even ask and she made us a bowl!! The most amazing people! I said this food should be available on EVERY STREET CORNER! It’s that good! I ate the Banga Soup with rice!
