Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

Namaste Curry Lounge is hands down one of the best Indian restaurants in St. Louis! The food is bursting with authentic flavors — every dish tastes freshly prepared and perfectly spiced. I tried their butter chicken and paneer tikka masala, and both were phenomenal — rich, creamy, and full of depth. The naan was soft and fluffy, just the way it should be. The service was equally impressive — the staff was warm, attentive, and genuinely cared about making our experience special. The ambiance is cozy yet elegant, making it a great spot for both casual dining and special occasions. Whether you’re craving comfort food or looking to explore Indian cuisine for the first time, Namaste Curry Lounge is an absolute must-visit. I’ll definitely be coming back soon — this place deserves all the love it gets!

We walked into Namastey Curry Lounge with curiosity, not expectation. A few friends had mentioned their elaborate Indian menu, and that was reason enough to try it. The place wasn’t buzzing, there was no hype in the air, and honestly, that usually sets the tone for a very average meal. But then we were greeted by the warmest smile from the hostess and something about that moment quietly reset our expectations. We started with pav bhaji, almost casually. And then the first bite landed. Rich, comforting, perfectly balanced like it had no business being that good. What was supposed to be a starter suddenly became the moment the evening turned. From there, restraint was out of the question. We ordered rajma paneer with garlic naan, asked for a little customization, half-expecting hesitation. Instead, it was met with an easy “of course.” The food arrived exactly how we’d hoped familiar, soulful, and deeply satisfying. We wanted to keep going, to explore more of the menu, but our appetite surrendered before our enthusiasm did. Just when we thought the experience was complete, the masala chai arrived. One sip and suddenly you’re not in a restaurant anymore. You’re back home. Back to conversations that linger, evenings that slow down, and comfort that doesn’t need explanation. Sometimes the best meals aren’t the loudest ones. They’re the ones that quietly stay with you. This was one of those.

Absolutely amazing. We had the chicken 65, mixed pickles, paneer jhol momo, chatpate and of course, mango lassi. Medium spice was a great level for us, a they also brought out some extra sauce for us to add to increase the spice if we wanted. Really great service. Food was fantastic. Will be back many more times.
