Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

Very impressed! Our first time on a Saturday around 6:30pm it wasn’t too busy. We had a great server who was awesome and attentive. The food seemed fresh quality and we enjoyed the tomato and mala broth! The AYCE option is such a great deal. We also loved the interior space and decor, so cool and felt like we were transported to a different world!

I absolutely love Nan Hot Pot! From the moment you walk in, the place looks great with it’s modern/classic, bright/natural light, and very clean. The atmosphere feels welcoming and comfortable, perfect for enjoying a meal with family or friends. The food here is excellent. The buffet setup is one of the best hotpot experiences I’ve had in the entire DFW area. Everything is fresh, flavorful, and well organized, with a wide variety of meats, seafood, veggies, and sauces to choose from. You can tell they really care about quality and presentation. The value is honestly over the top for what you get and tons of options, great flavors, and all-you-can-eat hot pot at a fair price. My friends from New York even said the fried rice tastes just like what he used to get back home, which says a lot! Overall, Nan Hot Pot is clean, well-decorated, and serves amazing food and the quality is over board and the shrimp paste is so good. Whether you’re a hotpot fan or just looking for a great meal, this is definitely a must-try spot in DFW. Highly recommend!

Tried Nan honestly cause another hotpot places line was too long. This detour has been an overwhelmingly pleasant surprise. Starting off the atmosphere and interior is clean despite eating at peak dinner. Decor and furniture were quite authentic, a little uncomfortable. Ambience was great, well lit and the noise level was moderate. Food and menu is authentic and plentiful. Quality is expected due to price and felt, tasted, and looked fresh. Presentation was on point too. There was a sauce bar with lots of options but honestly was lacking some more staple condiments. Service was good. Main server was attentive and kind although there was one bad encounter with another server who seemed to scoff and mean mug us when asked for napkins. Oh well every other aspect of our time there made this one easy to overlook.
