Diners overwhelmingly call out the signature dish as the must-order. The vibe reads as vegan restaurant — service is consistently described as warm and unhurried. Common gotcha: queues form at peak times — go early or late.

Excerpts

DO NOT COME HERE!!!! I ordered 2 papdi chaats for pickup and asked them to put the papdi on the side so they don’t get soggy. I was fasting so I was going to be eating the chaat an hour after. I come home, open the containers to set up my plate, and was baffled to see they gave me only 1.5oz of CHICKPEAS. IN CHAAT. I called them immediately and the guy was arguing with me saying I have to bring it back to get credit. I live 20 minutes away, so I was not going to be wasting an hour doing that. They charged me $10 for each order. Looked at the receipt and they charged me $1 extra each for “packaging” (I only asked for the papdi to be packaged separately). Completely scammed me.

I’ve been going to Neehee’s for the past 4 years since it opened during the pandemic area and used to be a huge fan of the restaurant. Went for the first time in a while and it massively disappointed me. The food was flavorless and bland. The ingredients felt very low quality and it just felt like the staff was just making the food from an instruction manual rather than actually trying to make it better. For example, the paneer parathas tasted like cardboard, felt frozen and paneer felt taped on instead of baked. The butter on the side was very cold that it just came from the fridge. Extremely disappointed, management needs to do better in offering authentic and fresh food. It used to be my favorite restaurant whenever I come back to Troy and now I don’t think I’ll ever go again.

Always been to Canton location, it was my first time at Troy one. Great service, very fast, wide range of varieties to try and as always clean and maintained place. Dosa was good, chat dishes were little on sour side, although great food joint to enjoy street style Indian dishes Plenty of dine in tables. And prices are on lower side as compared to their portions.
